Peer Supporters – Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania

It has been our privilege to connect thousands of families together for the past 25 years, which we would not have been able to do without our amazing volunteer Peer Supporters. They are the families who have been willing to open their hearts, take the time to listen and when asked share their own stories, so those feelings of isolation and in some cases hopelessness are validated and in its place the feeling that you are not alone and experience hope for the future.

This year we have launched two “new” interactive Peer Supporter online trainings described in the links titled, Peer Supporter Online Training and Strengthening Families Protective Factors. If you are interested in becoming a “Trained Peer Supporter”, please contact Sarah Holland at sholland@parenttoparent.org to send you a User Name and Password.

Training Support Parents is considered one of P2P USA “best practices” and we allow up to 6 months to complete the training once it is started. Until the training is completed your experiences are still invaluable and you may support another parent as a Resource Parent.
